Nurses Put Patient Safety First

Send the Premier, Health Minister and your local MLA a message now asking them to support the NSGEU’s plan for mandated minimum nurse to patient ratios at Capital Health!

We have almost two decades’ worth of research that shows a clear link between inadequate nurse staffing and poor patient outcomes.

Research also shows that nurse to patient ratios are cost-effective.

Nurses at Capital Health are constantly working short, which means patient care is being compromised.

This needs to change. Now.

Unfortunately, Capital Health has refused to negotiate nurse to patient ratios. We need the government and employer to make patient safety a priority for all Nova Scotians.

You can find out more about our campaign by visiting our website. Thank you for your support!
